As a veteran owned, veteran managed company, were committed to our veteran community. Position Summary Youll be part of a project team, primarily working in healthcare and government facilities. The Installer will assist with multiple aspects of the cable installation process including pathway construction, rough-in, routing, Telecommunication Room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding. Duties and Responsibilities * Show up on time, ready to go. * Assist the project team with installation tasks like pulling cable, mounting pathways, or organizing equipment. * Keep your work area squared away. * Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets. * Maintain a working knowledge of the equipment and materials we use, as well as industry best practices. * Comply with customer and company safety and security requirements. Travel This position is generally expected to travel at least 50% of the time. Our contracts are nationwide. However, its important to us that people dont burn out. Position RequirementsEducation * High School Diploma or GED required * In-house Certified Training Required (company provided): OSHA 10, Manufacturer Fire Stop training, Manufacturer installation training Experience * No experience in low voltage installation required. * Must have at least two years of full-time work experience with references. * Read, write, and understand English * Able to distinguish color codes Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to communicate clearly and follow a plan * Proactive * Positive attitude * Ability to work in a team * Meet deadlines * Willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done * Strong personal management skills * Professional behavior and appearance Tools * Some basic hand tools will be required. List available on request. No immediate major tool investment required. Work Environment & Physical Demands * Standard work environment is indoors. Often business office or healthcare environment. * Noise level is moderate. * Regularly required to speak and listen, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crawl, use hands, and reach for objects. * Must be able to carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet. * Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * May be required to work in tight, confined spaces, especially above drop tile ceilings.
