    JOB SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the human resources function for our plastics manufacturing plant in Plaistow, NH. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the Plant Manager to develop and implement HR policies and program that support the plant’s business objectives and promote a positive and productive work environment. This position is located on-site in Plaistow, NH.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and facilitating interviews.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
    • Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions.
    • Promote a positive work environment by fostering strong relationships between employees and management.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related initiatives.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and provide necessary information.
    • Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
    • Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
    • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external audits.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Proven experience in HR coordinator or a related role.
    • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
