Within these organizations, we partner with various business units to manage overall financial performance through rigorous analytics and strategic planning.The Pfizer Finance Development Program provides recent graduates the opportunity to work on meaningful projects to address current business needs. Rotational assignments are designed to provide new hires with real world experience, exposure to colleagues and functionalities, as well as technical and leadership development.The two year rotational program offers the following:Four, six month rotations in different business functions in the NY/NJ/PA area, as well as one domestic or international "offsite" rotation (i.e. manufacturing plant, commercial office, R&D facilities, etc.)Diverse assignments across key core competencies (i.e., global pricing, Audit, investor relations, plant accounting, project management, corporate functions, etc.)Peer-to-peer training to ease rotation transitionsFormal mentoring structures to encourage talent development, coaching, and guidanceInternal consideration for analyst roles upon the completion of the programWhat do I need?Successfully completed the Pfizer Finance Development Program 2018 Summer InternshipPrior experience in finance within the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or closely related field. A GPA of 3.25 or higher is requiredStrong organizational skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and create solutionsDemonstrated project management skills with high quality deliverablesEffective written, verbal, and presentation skillsAdaptive and receptive to changing priorities and assignmentsCompetency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. without the employer's sponsorship.
