FEED MILL RECEIVING OPERATOR Hourly Production Arcadia, Wisconsin ------------ Description Position at Pilgrim's POSITION SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Receiving Operator is responsible for inspecting and unloading all incoming ingredients, both bulk and bagged. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned ? Receives in bagged and bulked ingredients according to proper procedures. ? Operates Feed Mill Control System to select which bin to place ingredients into. ? Manages proper inventory levels of all bagged and bulk ingredients according to inventory schedules. ? Scales all incoming rucks and unloads them to proper bin locations via receiving control system according to procedures. ? Unloads corn and operates both corn dryers during Harvest, performing expected quality checks on cord to determine proper placement according to procedures. This includes grading corn properly. ? Maintains all records accurately and neatly in accordance to GMP and divisional guidelines. ? Follows housekeeping schedule for the Feed Mill being responsible for keeping assigned areas clean. Used blow down techniques using required PPE. ? Delivers feed and is capable of filling in for Feed Delivery Drivers. ? Performs weekly and monthly maintenance lubrication duties of receiving and corn drying equipment. ? Communicates with associates, vendors, and truck drivers of relevant issues. ? Responsible for additional duties as assigned by supervisor. EXPECTATATIONS all Team Members ? Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies. ? High School Diploma or related experience and/or training ? 6 months to 1 year related experience ? Basic math skills ? Ability to read and write effectively ? Some skill in computers ? Some mechanical skills ? Working knowledge of ingredient and feed quality ? Knowledge of record keeping procedures ? Ability to lift 50 pound bags ? Working ability to climb structures ? Class A CDL with good driving record according to Company policy.
