Jewelry Production Intern Platinum Plus Designs - New York, NY 10036 Internship Platinum Plus Designs is a jewelry manufacturing company located in the diamond district in Manhattan. We are currently looking for a team player who is interested in learning the behind the scenes action of the process to manufacture jewelry. Below is a brief list of some of the responsibilities of the position * Diamond and colored stone sorting/selecting * Meeting with clients (designers) to help produce their brand/line * Sourcing supplies and materials in Diamond District * Assist with social media accounts (insta, facebook/twitter/Tumblr etc...) * Research development for current trends, new clients, etc Requirements/skills and education * Must have experience with diamonds and colored stones (must be able to comfortably grade and asses diamonds by color and quality) * Jewelry manufacturing knowledge * Bench work experience would be beneficial * Auto CAD and 3D printing experience (does not have to be fluent but some type of understanding how the programs and printers work) Job Type: Internship Experience: * jewelry production: 1 year Education: * High school or equivalent Required work authorization: * United States 4 hours ago - save job
