We are seeking self-starting and highly motivated individuals for our Quality Control Team. Product line includes: * Orthopedic Devices * Government Contract Work * Aerospace Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Works on varied products such as medical components and commercial assemblies and deburs performing the following duties. * Removes burrs from machined parts by guiding component against abrasive wheel or belt. * Polishes surfaces using buffing compound and a muslin buffing wheel. * Removes excess material from welded joints using a deburring wheel or sand belt. * Moves deburring wheel over surfaces of work piece to remove fine scratches and to achieve specified finish. * Polishes recessed areas with fine grade emery cloth. * Sandblasts component surfaces to blueprint specifications using various types of abrasive media. * Removes inclusions and/or excess materials from castings using a high speed hand-held deburring tool. * Conditions component surfaces using an automated rotational barrel finishing machine. * Monitors stock levels of gas, welding rod, and associated supplies and reorders when necessary. Qualification Requirements: * MINIMUM 1 YEAR of EXPERIENCE in a Machine Shop/Production environment with a high school education or equivalent. Excellent working conditions, Medical, 401K.
