Job Description

We are expanding our IT team to keep up with company growth.  The ISERIES PROGRAMMER is responsible for full life cycle of software systems for all new development and enhancement projects. The key functions of this role include developing programming code from technical specifications, troubleshooting and debugging existing code, testing programs and fixes to ensure quality and providing programming and technical support. Provide support for Production System issues.  

• Design/Develop quality business applications in an iSeries/AS400 environment

• Full life cycle software development

• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills both oral and written

• Detail oriented, with strong follow-up and planning skills

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• ERP applications experience

• Knowledge of Programming Methodologies and Best practices

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Monitor and perform BRMS backups and recoveries

• Understanding of the iSeries/AS400 IPL process

• Knowledge of change control software

• Experience with Kronos and ProGen software

• Bachelor’s degree Preferred
