  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Human Resources Compliance Specialist, you will ensure the Company’s employment policies and practices are up to date and operate effectively. Areas of responsibility include the following: regulatory compliance, reporting, workers comp administration, and OSHA reporting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Point person to coordinate Workers Compensation admin, along with EHS team
    • OSHA Compliance reporting
    • Compiles, prepares, and submits regulatory reports and documents including, but not limited to annual EEO-1 reporting and other government filings.
    • I-9 and E-Verify administration.
    • HRIS reporting and data analysis to look for employment trends, supporting various groups.
    • Design, write, and implement employment and labor policies to comply with applicable laws and drive desired business results.
    • Monitor and update policies and Employee Handbook to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Proactively works with field team to make sure updates are appropriately communicated.
    • DOT administration.
    • Facilitates the Code of Conduct Training

    • Resourceful - Ability to work with minimal supervision, setting own objectives and presenting own decisions. Enthusiastic and credible.
    • Organizational skills - Ability to orchestrate and prioritize multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal and the daily workload.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in progressive Human Resources roles in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with both union and non-union facilities is preferred.
