    Job Description

    Join Avery Dennison and be part of a global leader in materials science and manufacturing. We are hiring experienced Flexographic Press Operators to support our growing production team.

    Available Shifts

    • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

    What You’ll Do

    As a Press Operator, you will:

    • Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses
    • Set up cylinders, plates, and ink systems for production runs
    • Perform two-color set-ups including mounting plates and adjusting rollers
    • Monitor print quality and adjust ink densities as needed
    • Inspect cylinders and plates before and during production
    • Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime
    • Read and interpret work orders and customer specifications
    • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area

    What We’re Looking For

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of flexographic press experience
    • Experience with print production, ink density control, and quality standards
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to read gauges, scales, and basic production reports
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Good color vision

    Additional Information

    Physical Requirements:

    • Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
    • Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
    • Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
