    The Process Engineering Intern will assist in assembling data for the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Under direct supervision/guidance, the intern will work alongside their team to compile, analyze and report operational, test, and research data to establish validated processes and performance standards for newly product introductions or modified products, processes, or materials. 

    In this position, the intern will: 

    • Work closely with and assist engineering staff with various engineering assignments.   
    • Design, build and validate tooling, fixtures, and standards. 
    • Develop and/or update SOP's and work instructions. 
    • Participate in 5S and Safety activities.

     

    Essential Functions

    • Assist Engineering with completion of change order tasks  
    • Utilize engineering tools for continuous improvement initiatives  
    • Complete assigned personal projects  
    • Safety: Proactively identify safety and ergonomic issues within the plant and eliminate concerns.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing/enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bio Medical Engineering or related field. 
    • Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. 
    • Previous co-op/internship experience; preferred
