    You will play a critical role in shaping category strategy, developing differentiated products, and executing across the full product lifecycle—from insight to concept to commercialization.

    Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

    What you might do in these roles:

    • Develop and manage product strategies that support category growth and align with customer and channel needs
    • Guide or contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle—concept development, launch, commercialization, and optimization
    • Build deep understanding of customer needs through insights, data analysis, and market feedback
    • Define product roadmaps and lead cross-functional execution in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Finance
    • Support or lead product line reviews, pricing decisions, and portfolio management activities
    • Participate in joint business planning and collaborative initiatives with retail and wholesale partners
    • Champion innovation opportunities and new product development tied to market trends and whitespace analysis
    • Contribute to a Product Management Center of Excellence that supports consistency, collaboration, and scalable best practices across our portfolio
    • Lead or support cross-functional alignment and go-to-market readiness
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Experience in product management, marketing, category management, or strategic planning
    • Comfort using data to shape decisions—familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP is a plus
    • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate insights into product strategies

    Preferred:

    • Experience in CPG, building materials, consumer goods, or wholesale/trade channels
    • Demonstrated success managing product portfolios or leading go-to-market execution
    • Experience balancing retail and wholesale dynamics or working in omnichannel product environments
    • MBA or advanced degree
