    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Support the strategies of the Urethane PDG with product and process development.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support development of new equipment and processes for new product offerings.
    • Collaborate in the creation of capital plans, specific capital projects and participate in strategic planning processes.
    • Support the development of new and innovative products and constructions.
    • Work with contractors and fabricators on fabrication of new equipment.
    • Work with operators and production personnel to develop and document new processes.
    • Support existing processes with continuous improvement and optimization.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • 1-3 years of process or product design experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Experience in partnering with business leaders on developing and driving global initiatives.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Highest value on safety in personal work practices and consideration in design of proceses and equipment.
    • A preference to hands on work style.
    • A sound understanding of mechanical principles relative to structure, safety and design.
    • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments.
    • Strong experience with AutoCad, SolidWorks, etc.
