Position Summary:
Our 12-week internship program is designed to give you an immersive, hands-on experience where you’ll gain practical experience on real-life assignments that will bring your theoretical knowledge to life. This role is specifically nested within DeliveryWorks, a new team within our Defense business launched in January 2026. DeliveryWorks is focused on transforming the delivery capability within the business, ensuring the products and services our customers rely upon for critical missions are on-time, every time.
What you’ll be doing:
Scheduling management: assisting in developing, tracking, and reporting project plans and integrating schedules to ensure delivery milestones are met
Risk & opportunity management: collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential bottlenecks and actively mitigate risks while seeking opportunities for improvement
Project controls: supporting cost and budget management tracking to maintain project health
Stakeholder and communication management: engaging with cross-functional leadership and working teams with clear and consistent information flow
Operational support: supporting data analysis, and internal reporting for the DeliveryWorks leadership team

Relevant majors:
Currently attending an accredited university/college working toward a minimum of a bachelor’s degree:
Business Administration (with a focus on Project Management, Project Leadership, or Analytics)
Supply Chain Management/Logistics
Operations Management
Engineering Management or Industrial Engineering
Business Administration (with a focus on Project Management or Analytics)
Industrial Management
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Preferred qualifications (but not required):
Methodology awareness: basic understanding of project management frameworks such as Waterfall, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma (e.g., coursework or a Yellow Belt certification). Experience working with large data sets
Software proficiency: experience with or exposure to project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Data Visualization) is highly valued
Certifications: pursuit of or interest in the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or similar entry-level credentials from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Leadership experience: demonstrated experience leading a team, club, or student organization - specifically in roles involving planning, budgeting, or event execution
Work authorization eligibility: To be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen.
