We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

As a Quality Assurance intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

• Support of the overall inspection process
• Observing and recording test results
• Identifying and reporting deviations
• Collecting and organizing both paper and electronic records
• Working with ERP system to collect information to schedule inspections and to support incoming and outgoing shipments
• Perform equipment testing
• Utilize hand tools for product maintenance and issue resolution
• Use of Digital multi-meter to measure voltage and investigate battery issues
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to share ideas for product and process improvements

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational,analytical,andproblem-solvingskills
• Self-driven and proactive
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
• Strong Attention to detail
• Excellent team-working skills is fundamental to working in our small-company environment
• Able to lift 20 pounds

EDUCATION

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Engineering or related field of study
• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
• Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
