    Position Description

    Job Summary

    The Quality Intern will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's document integrity. Responsibilities include utilizing document management software to seamlessly transfer documents to a new platform, ensuring accessibility for authorized personnel, and guaranteeing compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. Additionally, the intern will facilitate effective communication within the company, with customers, and suppliers. They will also provide support to fellow engineers, contributing to problem-solving efforts in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

    Daily activities include:

    • Coordinate tasks with the Document Control Specialist and Quality Engineers.
    • Support in the inspection of materials, equipment, processes, and products.
    • Communicate potential risks to management that may affect projects and provide reports.
    • Participate in project planning meetings.
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
    • Provide status updates through reporting.

    Required Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing/enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree (Bachelors or Masters) within Engineering or related field.
    • Basic understanding of quality planning, control, assurance, and improvement.
    • Basic comprehension of Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and adept at identifying deviations from approved documented procedures.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with proficiency in electronic document control tools. Familiarity with Visio is an added advantage.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Good organizational skills.
