  • Responsibilities

    Position Title: Supervisor, Warehouse

    Pay Status: Exempt

    Department: Logistics

    Position Relationships:

    Supervised By: Varies By Location

    Supervises: Shipper/Receiver/Assembly

    Essential Functions:

    • Schedule and coordinate work activities.
    • Monitor output and quantity of output.
    • Train and assist employees.
    • Request and schedule maintenance on equipment in area of responsibility.
    • Monitor all orders from start to finish.
    • Monitors inventory accuracy.
    • Informs manager of any problems (i.e., employee, facility).
    • Assists manager with enforcement of company rules on safety, housekeeping, attendance, and security.
    • Create and design new ways to improve work methods.
    • Ensure that all required training is identified for and completed by all direct reports.
    • Evaluate staffing needs and costs; identifies, hires and promotes individuals with the right skills and competencies necessary to achieve superior results.
    • Develop a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual’s strengths to the benefit of the team.
    • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
    • Ability to perform all functions in area of supervision (i.e., assist, monitor, discipline, etc.).
    • Communicate well with customers and co-workers.
    • Basic knowledge of computer data input.

  • Qualifications

    OTJ-HR

    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field with 10+ years of experience within Human Resources OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience that must include a minimum of 10 years of work experience within the Human Resource field.
    • Bi-lingual Spanish 
    • Working knowledge in all areas pertinent to the management of all HR functions including compensation, staffing, employee involvement, EEO/AAP safety training and policy development.
    • Current knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations as it pertains to HR. 
    • Knowledge of organizational development strategies and adult learning principles.
    • Successful experience in leading organizational change and integration initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability in conflict management and counseling.
    • Proven ability to function effectively in a matrixed organization.
    • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
