1. Plans full truck and LTL (less than truckload) outgoing freight based on customer specific routing requirements. 
2. Coordinates finished goods inventory to maximize truck usage. 
3. Provides support to both Customer Service Reps and customers. 
4. Provides reports to internal customers such as Customer Service Reps and responsible for Customer Service interface.
5. Resolve daily logistical issues timely and communicate effectively to all affected parties.
6. Provide basic departmental & logistics reporting.
7. Ensuring company compliance and policies are followed.

Required Skills

• Minimum of at least three years previous transportation / logistics experience preferred
• Previous experience & working knowledge of any transportation management software is an asset.
• Results-oriented through project management
• Accurate with strong attention to detail
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Self-directed while being a team player
• Team cooperation and respect is required.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.
• Independent decision making skills.

Required Experience

1. High school diploma, and/or an associates degree or bachelor’s degree in business or relevant work experience is preferred.
2. Minimum of at least three years previous transportation / logistics experience preferred
3. Previous experience & working knowledge of any transportation management software is an asset.
4. Supervisory experience is required.
