    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Vice President of Ecosystem is a proven executive and leads the vision and strategy of a new vibrant Ecosystem of Entrepreneurs, Developers, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to sell and distribute intelligent automation solutions to customers across the globe.

     

    This leader defines the overall vision and strategy of the next-generation Kofax App Ecosystem and ISV Partners. The VP of Ecosystem creates the vision and strategy of a new modern App Marketplace that provides value to our customers with easy to find solutions to solve their business needs and provides a pathway for our partners and developer community to achieve success through the evolution of our partner, developer programs, and strategic alliances.  In this role, the leaders works closely cross-functionally with Strategy and Sales teams to reinvent the next-generation ISV Partner program to drive long-term and sustainable growth for Kofax and its partner ecosystem.

     

    The VP of Ecosystem collaborates with Commercial Growth and Sales teams to produce and deliver enablement materials that guide our ISV partners through the onboarding process that offers technical guidance on how to extend the Kofax Intelligent Automation platform. The leader works closely with Product, Growth, and Channel Partner Sales teams to identify and recruit technology and strategic ISV/alliance partners that complement Kofax’s growth and competitive strategy.

     

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for creating the vision and strategy of the next-generation Kofax Ecosystem
    • Develop, and execute our Ecosystem strategy to create a vibrant ecosystem of enterprise trusted solutions and developer community
    • Partner and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Growth, Products, Sales, Finance, and Services teams, to stay aligned on the overall vision and strategy
    • Responsible for business development initiatives for the Marketplace from partnerships, commercials, and developer experience
    • Align across various teams including Product and Growth to build and execute on GTM-plans for both customers and partners
    • Excite our customers with an unmatched experience on how to consume 3rd party applications in an easy, secure, scalable, and frictionless way
    • Drive and develop ISV partnerships and strategic alliances that contribute towards higher customer retention goals, accelerate time to value, and create new distribution channels
    • Be at the forefront of building and launching a new modern Ecosystem program that contributes to Kofax and our partners growth strategies
    • Assist with technology-led initiatives as we shift to a recurring revenue model (platform pricing, a self-service portal, tech alliances, SaaS partners, etc.)
    • Provide recommendations across strategic products including design principles, application features, interfaces, and experiences
    • Ensure cross-functional alignment of our eCommerce strategy and how it plays a strategic role in our overall Ecosystem strategy
    • Drive internal cross-functional alignment to develop recommendations and execute on approved recommendations

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Designing corporate Ecosystem Strategy and driving cross-functional execution that provides value to customers through the ARR customer lifecycle and journey
    • Providing customers a frictionless experience/interaction with the Kofax Marketplace
    • Effectively communicating, internally and externally, our Ecosystem strategy so that it is well understood by employees and the market
    • Successful market positioning that lays the groundwork for growth for a new ISV and Developer Ecosystem

    Required Skills

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • 10+ years of experience working in a B2B and SaaS Ecosystems environment
    • Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish. Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following directions, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
    • Proven experience and capacity to lead a global team of highly engaged individuals. 15+ years of leadership experience required. 
    • Experience designing enterprise software products, visualizations, and perceptions
    • Expert understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
    • Expert knowledge of design tools
    • Ability to communicate your ideas to a wide variety of key stakeholders
    • Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives
    • Collaborative leadership and management experience to work with other functional leaders across the business to focus on financial growth goals and use data to make decisions
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, storytelling, and computer skills.
    • Ability to travel as needed
