    JOB SUMMARY: Position averages 30-40 hours per week

    The key function of the Data Analyst is to ensure the accurate, appropriate, and timely gathering, processing, and preparation of data from a variety of sources. This is achieved through rigorous adherence to standards of research and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team to analyze, visualize, and present data for publication and dissemination to a broad base of constituents.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products
    • Ensures accuracy of material orders
    • Analyzes inventory levels and production plans to ensure product availability and cost-efficient manufacturing and inventory
    • Prepares and generates reports as assigned
    • Communicates in timely and un-ambiguous fashion with other departments affected by inventories and with customers
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required with 1-3 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job
    • Experience in kitting and fulfillment required
    • Demonstrated competencies in or ability to quickly acquire skills in: Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, other Microsoft and Google office products.
    • Requires excellent knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job or good knowledge related to a professional field of work.
    • Demonstrated very strong attention to detail (specifically mathematical), strong data analysis skills, good data visualization skills, and excellent data checking and validation skills.
    • Demonstrated skills at researching and collecting data, processing and managing large amounts of data, and organizing data, files, and information.
    • Willingness to take direction and work independently or closely with co-workers and contractors to create, edit, and produce/publish varied types of documents, reports, and analyses.
    • Willingness to be agile enough to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines. Must be willing to demonstrate both tenacity and composure in the face of new information or unexpected obstacles.
    • Willingness to be flexible, creative, and ethical in solving unique problems.
    • Experience working independent as a self-starter and as a productive part of a team.
    • No outside business interests that may conflict with the organization’s goals, objectives, or position as an unbiased source of analysis are allowed.
    • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments.
    • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs.
