  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for creative execution of concepts and designs for retail circular pages, direct mail and/or collateral material. Create concepts, design and execute retail and direct mail pieces whose messages are visually compelling; execute the creative strategy and ensure that projects are completed on established schedule targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work is typically performed under general supervision, receiving some guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed and how to complete some assignments. Able to exercise moderate level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks and prioritizing work. Work is typically completed by following established policies and procedures.

    • Responsible for concept, design and photography direction of retail and direct mail circulars and redesign solutions.
    • Develops new formats for retail and direct mail circulars.
    • Designs and develops catalog and point-of-purchase collateral as well as various design projects from concept through finished product stages.
    • Collaborates with Creative Directors, end-client and production team to identify project needs and design finished product to support the brand objective.
    • Works on accounts that are moderately complex and non-routine.
    • Demonstrates the ability to make suggestions pertaining to the identification of critical elements and alternatives to implement the most appropriate solution.
    • Establishes priorities for assigned tasks and coordinates phases of work with others.
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    3)  Able to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments. May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position.

    4)  Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.

    5)  Must possesses a portfolio of imaginative work.

    6)  Demonstrates good working knowledge of graphic design.

    7)  Must have good knowledge of Macintosh platform (OSX) and industry standard applications: Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
