    The IT Procurement Intern position is a supportive role to the IT Procurement Manager and is an opportunity for the right candidate to build skills in Project Management, IT Commodity knowledge, IT Asset Management and Procurement methodologies in SAP and Ariba. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Daily management of software and/or hardware procurement and recordkeeping to ensure data integrity.
    • Update software assets with supplier records, service level agreements, and software license information in ServiceNow.
    • Maintain documentation relating to the software asset management process and procedures.
    • Track data for locations, assets and licenses; as well as linking contract data to software.
    • Partner with the IT buyer team to map processes and to identify alternate, more efficient, solutions.

    THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK PART-TIME DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND FULL-TIME DURING THE SUMMER AND HOLIDAY BREAKS.

    Required Skills

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required; both verbal and written.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changes
    • Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
    • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
    • Familiarity with Google (Gmail, Docs, Sites, Groups) and ServiceNow is preferred.
    • Must be flexible and exercise a high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.
    • We are seeking an individual who can work independently and/or collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

    Required Experience

    • Candidates should be working toward an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University.
