  • Responsibilities

    We are hiring a Presentation Designer to join our growing team. You will be an integral part of the process from start to finish. You will work closely with other Designers and our client group, working in a fast paced environment. This has an opportunity for growth and development within the team.  

    Responsible for processing digital files, resulting in the manufacture of digitally created proofs, or various outputs, digital or print related, that satisfy the specifications of the customer. This position may review proofs, instructions or customer requirements and perform image manipulation, page layouts or inserts, simple color corrections, or create digital images using Photoshop, Illustrator, and other desktop publishing software. This position may also develop and maintain relationships with key clients, providing excellent customer service and giving clear communication of client expectations.

     

    2ND SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY 2:00PM - 10:00PM

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Work assignments are often routine but on occasion may be non-routine and require some deviation from accepted practice and procedures to complete. Assignments are given in terms of subject area concerned, with specific objectives and possible problems identified. Follow guidelines which may include company and/or departmental policies and procedures, and rules and regulations that are well established but may require some deviation from normal operating procedures when completing more unique assignments.

    • Operates and integrates digital equipment at an advanced level using a wide range of application software on multiple platforms to produce end product for client.
    • Analyzes and solves problems related to customer supplied files or images.
    • Performs work for clients, which is varied and moderately complex.
    • Serves as a direct liaison between the client, sales and division, ensuring timely and accurate production of the client's product. Can serve as the primary customer contact for on-boarding and technical support.
    • May develop workflows and systems to support business operations, including database set-up, file conversions, file management and automated scripts.
    • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all application software relevant to the processes used.
    • Develops manufacturing plans, designs and implements workflows, tracks and reports on quality metrics, strategize with the customer and delivers services which will attract and retain customers.
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    6)  Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments.

    7)  Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others. 8)  Must have proven technical and process knowledge of standard graphic arts software packages and have previous experience in a digital prepress environment.

    9)  Must have know of Continuous Improvement tools to be able to create and track metrics.
