SUMMARY
- Responsible for creating and revising Buyer profiles based on Buyer’s specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with the Technical Consultant and Project Manager team to deliver a complete solution which includes analyzing, mapping, testing and deploying Buyer profiles within defined timescales.
- Assist Service Delivery Manager and Support team through the provision of technical advice and investigation related to Buyer profile.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create new Buyer maps, using ETL tools, according to the ERP system specification provided by the Buyer.
- Update and rework Buyer mapping configuration as a result of changes in the Buyer, Fiscal or System requirements
- Specify and document Perl script requirements in conjunction with Buyer File Processing delivery system
- Test Perl script processors
- Create and update XPath scripts
- Setting up Buyer configuration using SQL developer
- Create and maintain Buyer Specific libraries for communication to other departments
- Accurately deploy Buyer profiles from Staging to Production server
- Ensure correct version control applied and documented in all builds
- Ensure systems are tested for SIT and UAT
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues particularly Technical Consultants, Project Managers and Support Teams.
- Report any technical, fiscal or other concerns in a timely manner.
- Set and achieve realistic target dates for each task in managing own workloads.
Required Skills

Required Experience
- Bachelor or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ERP system.
- Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), X-Path & XSLT background
- Knowledge of multiple file types like XML, CSV, EDI, IDOC
- Knowledge in SQL developer
- Knowledge of accounts payable or finance would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Perl scripting would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in file transfer protocol would be an added advantage.
