RRD Packaging Solutions Durham is a leading packaging and trading card company in North America, producing educational and healthcare products, as well as collectible trading cards associated with the entertainment and sports industries. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing ERP Implementation specialist for our Durham, NC location.
The following describes the initial scope of this position:
- Train and prepare location for transition and Go-Live to new manufacturing ERP software, supporting the functional areas of Estimating, Planning, Purchasing, Scheduling and Production Management
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators and Planners
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing and technology to allow for the development of integrated solutions to resolve technical and business issues
- Serve as a liaison between location users and functional IT departments during the initial phases of development efforts
- Define the system and functional requirements of technical projects
Post New ERP software Go-Live:
- Continue to build on technical and business knowledge to better understand the link between business and technology
- Provide ongoing training and development
- Help drive adoption of and compliance to new processes
- Provide systems training of all new hires
Required Skills
- Strong problem solving skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of desktop software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to demonstrate ability to solve complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through manufacturing experience and proficiency in understanding ERP software
Required Experience
- Proven practical knowledge of utilizing manufacturing ERP Software in a packaging print facility or closely related environment is required
- Demonstrated experience in software implementation/conversion through prior work experience and/or certifications
- Prior experience with Radius software preferred
The national pay range for this role is $62,100 to $109,200 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
