KIRK RD - Performs a wide variety of expediting tasks to ensure a timely flow of production and kitting assembly activities.  Set up kitting work stations.  Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be moved for kitting work area setup.  Compiles and maintains inventory and status information to expedite movement of parts, equipment, and materials according to kitting schedule and priorities.  Locate, coordinate, and expedite the flow of raw materials, in-process materials and kitting components within the plant.  Verify and maintain documentation such as shortages.  May be tasked with performing ancillary duties related to shipping and receiving and unloading trucks and preparing outbound shipments and loading trucks for disposition of customer products.  Counts, weighs, and/or records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.

Required Skills

OTJ-MAN

• Basic computer skills (inventory/production reporting software experience preferred).
• Ability to communicate in English; basic skills to read and interpret written work instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment required.
• Experience in material handling

Required Experience

• 2-3 years warehouse experience.
• 6-12 months work history in a manufacturing environment required; experience in printing environment preferred.  
• Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to bend, reach and turn frequently.
• Must be able to stand and move about the facility frequently.
