This is a second shift position 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Operate digital printing press to produce quality color and monochrome matched products.

• Manage press speed, monitor toner, color, finish and adjust to maintain quality.

• Prepare, set up, change over and restart press with new jobs when needed.

• Maintain safety, quality, maintenance and good manufacturing practices.

• You should have familiarity with the operations of Xerox digital printing presses (Nuvera and Igen) cut sheet papers, substrates, toner, finishing processes and the steps of printing production to maintain quality results.

• Ability to operate ink jet printers and mail finishing equipment is a plus.

• This is a fast paced position, must be able to function and work accordingly.

• Read and understand a job ticket to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications.

• Manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met.

• Operate multiple variations of presses and perform preventative maintenance.

• Set up and make the press ready.

• Visually inspect product throughout the run for quality checks, registration, ink coverage, and numbering sequence.

• Perform color calibrations and maintain consistent color output.

• Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy.

• Monitor and maintain inventory and consumables

The pay range for this position is $17.50 to 19.00 per hour. Salary considerations may change based on skills, experiences and qualifications of the successful candidate

Required Experience

• Experience as a Digital Press Operator is required.
