This Graphic Designer will be part of a creative services in-house team supporting the design and creative direction efforts. The creative team develops a variety of print and internal / external marketing collateral for the retail industry. All creative efforts are coordinated with the client to maintain the integrity of the approved designs and themes. The Graphic Designer must be passionate about design, consumer trends and a forward-thinking individual looking for new and innovate ways to deliver ideas to our client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work assignments are typically routine and non-complex in nature and follow established policies and procedures. Receive some instruction in completing routine assignments and may receive more detailed instructions for new or more complex assignments. Routine work may be reviewed through spot checking or occasionally as an end product; new or more complex assignments are reviewed as each task is completed. Ability to determine how work is completed within parameters of following established processes and procedures.

Possesses a strong developing portfolio of imaginative work
Well versed on Macintosh platform (OSX) and industry standard applications: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, MS Office and Photoshop. Flash and HTML a plus but not required. Must be highly proficient in CS3 Design software and other applicable programs.
Organized self-starter with strong time/project management skills and ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build/maintain strong and effective client and internal team relationships.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen and understand client needs to effectively execute the work.
Convey needs, ideas, and opinions clearly to others while projecting credibility, poise, and confidence.
Thirst for learning and developing as a graphic designer.
