We're hiring for a Finance Manager to join our team! This is a hybrid position.
This key role will serve as the finance business partner and will oversee multiple facilities in our Labels Group. Dual Role responsible for compliance and analytics. Responsible for reporting, forecasting and evaluation of results in compliance with RRD policies. Partners with operations team to share insights and lead business improvements to drive financial results. Participates in the overall financial management of the Plant. Provides appropriate financial information to Plant VP and departmental managers to enable them to establish effect goals and monitor operating performance. Implements RRD’s policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP to ensure the safeguarding of assets and accuracy of financial information.

- Owner of business financial statements – completes monthly FS review process
- Reviews and submits monthly BSA’s
- Completes disclosure checklists
- Submits Daily close updates
- Leads monthly business review meetings

- Works closely with Accounting team on month-end financial close and overall P&L presentation

- Monitors Key Performance Indicators (Labor % VA, DSO, DIOH, etc.) and works with Plant President to develop correction actions as necessary
- Manages the process of improving working capital.
- Reviews customer and job profitability to evaluate sales and production performance as well as the accuracy of the data.
- Participates in periodic evaluation and revision of budgeted hourly rates and manufacturing standards used for estimating & job costing.
- Develops tools to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both operations and strategy.
- Prepares regular and ad hoc reports about Plant financial status as appropriate.
- Oversees monthly physical inventory counts and is responsible for tracking/valuing all materials, work in progress, and finished goods at month end. Performs and documents review of inventory obsolescence in accordance with RRD policy.

Required Skills

- Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments.
- Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.
- Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- CPA is preferred.
The national pay range for this role is $87300 to $153700 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
