An internship at Mead Johnson Nutrition would include support of the ESC Production team whose responsibility is to interface with all supply chain support teams in order to optimize production output and efficiency to meet our business needs. Candidates to be considered will be undergraduate students in engineering or business. Specific assignment will be dependent upon the intern and the timing of specific projects and activities within the ESC function assigned. This assignment will be based in Evansville, IN. Possible intern responsibilities: Active participation on project teams, in some instances acting as project leader to deliver system solutions in support of ESC production areas Systematically break complex problems and processes into component parts using process mapping and problem solving techniques. Develop project plans (budgets, manpower, timelines) that define clear, measurable project goals and objectives . Execute project plans and lead project teams with minimal supervision to meet commitments. Working with various functional groups leverage business analytics skills to develop and implement key performance indicators or business reports which improve oversight and insights into our business. The internship program includes leadership development opportunities such as setting performance expectations, in-depth assessment and feedback, and participation in business meetings.
