    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

    As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

    • Interpret researched regulatory standards to determine business impact.
    • Document and present findings to key organization stakeholders.
    • Documenting compliance-related processes and maintaining records
    • Coordinating regulatory compliance procedures across organizational structures.
    • Develop and enact regulatory compliance strategies.
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets related to licensing, policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.
    • Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations as they pertain to Sensitech's product portfolio
    • Assist with REACH, California Prop 65, RoHS, CE, Conflict Minerals compliance, and other compliance objectives to meet global product standards and/or packaging regulatory/environmental.
    • Assist with the development of the compliance process, including the establishment of user requirements for tools supporting the compliance process.
    • Partner cross-functionally within the organization to drive conformance and compliance procedures.
    • Monitor new and emerging legislation/policies, determine impact, and assure compliance to Sensitech's products.
    • Provide regulatory guidance and communicate regulatory progress, decisions, strategies to cross-functional teams.
    • Create documentation in response to customer regulatory requests, including certifications, regulatory letters, technical packages, etc.
    • Maintain working knowledge of US and European, and other global standards relating to electronics, telecommunication devices used to assist with the manufacturer/production/distribution of products within the food, industrial and life-sciences industries.
    • Adhere to all applicable government and Sensitech standards to maintain compliance to meet regulations, practices, and procedures.

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Self-driven and proactive
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

    EDUCATION

    • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field of study
    • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
