    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

    As a Reliability intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

    • Gain an understanding of reliability engineering principles and practices associated with our products.
    • Contribute to structured problem solving, including root cause analysis (RCA) of failed parts in reliability lab or field testing.
    • Participate in and/or facilitate HVAC component/system failure prevention assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and contribute to process and efficiency improvements
    • Communicate with component experts to design and/or improve reliability tests, including Accelerated Life Testing (ALT/HALT).
    • Conduct warranty data analyses, including supporting problem identification and statistical analysis, including Weibull analysis and related reliability predictions.
    • Promote reliability engineering within our culture by addressing where and how reliability may help our company be more effective and our products more reliable.
    • Communicate with people of diverse cultures, educational levels, and experience.

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational,analytical,andproblem-solvingskills
    • Self-driven and proactive
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

    EDUCATION

    • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field of study
    • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
