Job Summary
CertainTeed is committed to being the leader in light and sustainable construction. We are looking for a driven, talented, and energetic entry-level engineer to join our gypsum team in conducting hands-on laboratory experiments for the improvement of our value-added product. The candidate will, under the supervision of the manager, utilize basic scientific principles and techniques to undertake specific tasks and projects with limited scope. The incumbent will document their work carefully and thoroughly. The candidate will demonstrate an open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility. Good written and oral communication skills are required.
In addition, the incumbent may be asked to carry out laboratory testing for other Research Engineers with the approval and supervision of their manager. The candidate may supervise the work of Research Technicians or coop as assigned.
