Web Marketing Intern Position Summary The Web Marketing Intern will work with a team to develop marketing content and implement promotional campaigns to drive brand messaging and ultimately increase awareness and demand of Zurn products. As part of the Marketing internship program, you will be given the opportunity to work as part of the Marketing team with specific project responsibilities, access to mentors, and create Marketing initiatives that will be implemented into the business. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments, and gain exposure to Product Marketing Specialists, Product Managers, Creative Designers, Sales Professionals, and other internal departments. As a Marketing Intern team member, you will assist in projects relevant to the development and execution of our core Marketing competencies and strategies. Responsibilities * Research, identify, and create / develop marketing content (photography, case studies, testimonials, etc.) * Assist the product marketing team with identification and gathering of product information data * Assist in the coordination and communication of the rollout of new products across digital, PR, and media * Conduct general market and competitive research as needed * Assist with special market research projects and analyze data where necessary * Assist in voice-of-customer research to help identify customer needs and product changes * Collaborate with digital marketing analysts and utilize web content tools to assist with the update of web pages * Maintain multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion * Carry out special projects as needed Leadership Competencies * Action Oriented Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. * Customer Focus Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. * Instills Trust Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. * Optimizes Work Processes Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. * Self-Development Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels. Experience and Skill Required * Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree * GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred * Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook * Experience with HTML & CSS is helpful * Experience with Google Analytics * Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required * Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills * Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments * Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer, and 10-15 hrs during the school year * Strong organizational and time management skills.
