    Job Description

    The Marketing and Training Internship with Rexnord Process and Motion Control gives the intern the opportunity to assist both internally and with external customers in exciting front-line business support functions.  As a Marketing and Training intern, you will be part of the team, where you will be assigned a mentor and will have opportunity to participate in leadership development and networking activities to gain exposure to Rexnord culture and leadership. 

    As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

    NETWORKING EVENTS – Rexnord hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.

    COACHING AND MENTORING – You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Rexnord’s corporate culture and provide you regular feedback.

    REAL WORK EXPERIENCE – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Marketing & Training Intern will work cooperatively with the marketing, training, and sales teams as well as customers to deliver support. Possible projects include, but not limited to:
    • Channel program projects providing B2B marketing experience
    • Training program projects supporting customer or employee sessions
    • Customer engagement projects supporting digital solution enablement’s
    • Tradeshow, conference, or meeting projects supporting customer or employee events
    • Lead qualification projects working cooperatively with the marketing and sales team
    • Digital demand creation projects supporting campaigns
    • Sales enablement projects supporting Showpad, Pardot, etc.

     

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Sales, or Business program; Will have Junior academic status in the fall of 2020
    • Basic knowledge of, and/or desire to learn, general business principles
    • Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Office365 a plus
    • Ability to work with cross functional teams
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize work efficiently
    • Self-starter, desire to learn and contribute
    • Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer 20 hours per week during the school year
