    Job Description

    The eCommerce Content Intern will be a key contributor in the implementation of a Product Information Management (“PIM”) platform to enable a “single source of truth” for Zurn’s products, greater operational efficiencies, and quality data. This solution is a key enabler of Zurn’s digital productivity business model, known as DiRXN (pronounced “direction”). As part of the internship program, you will be a member of the Digital team and will be given opportunities to work cross-functionally with specific project responsibilities and access to mentors. This role will work with multiple departments including exposure to Product Managers, Product Marketing, Engineering, IT, and other internal departments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create an SOP for new eCommerce partners inclusive of sales reporting, MAP policy, brand guidelines, contacts for merchandising, data available and training for content store
    • Building additional quality rules into PIM, and notifications that drive daily work for enrichment team
    • Assist with enhanced merchandising to drive ecommerce sales
    • Document data collection, creation, change, and discontinuation business processes
    • Document data definitions and standards
    • Gather functional and data requirements for the PIM solution
    • Map PIM data and attributes to internal systems and external partners
    • Develop training materials for PIM users
    • Consolidate product data from multiple data sources
    • Review and improve upon product data
    • Analyze data issues and recommend a resolution plan
    • Assist with external data requests by collaborating with cross-functional departments
    • Carry out special projects as needed

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED

    • Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree
    • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
    • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required
    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments
    • Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer, and 10-15 hrs during the school year
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
