    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Rexnord’s internship program is project-based and will afford the intern an ability to network with cross-functional teams. Project work typically includes positions in areas such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, Corporate Reporting, and Central Accounting. Interns will have a chance to work with our Zurn business, Process Motion and Control platform, and Corporate.

    As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

    • NETWORKING EVENTS – Rexnord hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
    • COACHING AND MENTORING – You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Rexnord’s corporate culture and provide you regular feedback.
    • REAL WORK EXPERIENCE – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.
    • RESPONSIBILITIES
    • This position will be project based. Examples of potential projects are as follows:
    • Lead a process improvement project using Lean methodologies
    • Build a financial dashboard& KPI tracker for a business segment
    • Perform In-depth Industry Analysis and Competitor Profiling for Executive Decision Making
    • Build Competitive Pricing Models for a Product
    • Conduct Excel based Data Research & Analysis and make recommendations for company operations
    • Cost Benefit Analysis to support a major investment decision

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2021 GPA of 3.3 or higher                                  
    • Prior experience working in an office setting is a plus
    • Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
