JOB DESCRIPTION The corporate development intern will be responsible for conducting market and company-specific research, investment analysis, and due diligence support of acquisition and organic growth opportunities. The position will also be responsible for other projects and initiatives as requested by the Corporate Development Director, including a project to improve the efficiency of Rite-Hite's distribution efforts. Upon successful completion of the summer internship, the candidate may be considered for a tulle till position with Rite-Hite. Other essential duties including the following: Collaborate with the Corporate Development team to identify markets of interest and conduct research on those markets, including market size, growth rates, competitive dynamics, and industry participants. Within markets of interest, the Corporate Development Intern will research specific companies to gather information such as company size, product/service overview, go-to-market strategies, and differentiation relative to other industry competitors. Support the Corporate Development team on conducting investment analysis and due diligence on specific acquisition and organic growth opportunities. In addition to other responsibilities, this may include financial analysis, business diligence, and valuation modeling. Lead specific projects as requested by Corporate Development team. This will include a project to research and evaluate various options for improving the efficiency of Rite-Hites distribution efforts. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and candidates with an MBA degree or currently working towards an MBA Degree are preferred.
