    The Role:

    Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Project Management, our Project Manager will proactively manage changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devise contingency plans while overseeing post-order change orders and negotiations, customer interfaces.

    This is a cross-functional position where you will not only support the Project Coordinator and other Project Managers on the team, but also partner with internal teams to ensure that we are acting in an efficient and timely manner to support our customers and products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to developing strategic plans and reviews during bid preparation, including spec review and bid cost guidance.
    • Prepares and completes detailed project plans and special resource requirements; participates in all risk reviews.
    • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing and scheduling plans, analyzing variances, addressing constraints, and initiating corrective actions.
    • Coordinates the activities of Project Coordinators to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
    • Conducts post-order reviews to determine appropriate corrective actions to improve project management processes; prepares timely progress reports and final project updates.
    • Works individually and as a team to develop and implement processes and procedures, quality improvements, and cost flow improvements.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • At least 6+ years of Project/Program Management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in electric heating and/or project management.
    • A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
    • Working experience interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Proven working experience effectively communicates project expectations to team members, providing technical advice to resolve problems.
    • Proven working experience managing complex project development from beginning to end.
    • Knowledge of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software; JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
    • Proven working experience with attention to detail in follow-through, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
