Job Description Provide support to the Event Marketing Manager for Bosch Security Systems North America. This includes trade show and event support for Bosch Security Systems, Inc. (includes both Security and Communications businesses) including Trade Shows and Exhibitions, Conferences, road shows, and/or events related to promotions and product launches. This internship will support the execution of an event or show from the beginning to the end. Length of internship is to begin immediately for approximately one year duration. Internship is paid. Principal Responsibilities 75% Trade show and Event support Includes but not limited to: Assist with choosing and securing booth space needed for the event. Collect and manage internal attendee list for event communications. Secure hotel accommodations for Bosch attendees and manage hotel rooming lists and confirmations. Coordinate a variety of services, including catering, audio/visual equipment, and show badges in preparation for events. Manage ordering and shipping of products, signage, brochures, company badges, etc. Coordinate the post-event activities including lead follow-up and internal/external surveys. Possible opportunity to travel to support trade show(s) on-site, potentially Las Vegas in April 2019 25% General Marketing Support Includes but not limited to: Process purchase order requests by acquiring estimates from vendors and submitting the necessary paperwork to initiate projects. Complete sales-related and marketing administrative projects that include running marketing and sales reports, conducting research, and other projects as assigned. Qualifications To meet the qualifications of Intern status, must be currently working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Business Communications, OR within one year of earning degree . Knowledge of marketing principles. High competence level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in event planning preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of writing reports and business correspondence, and interacting with internal and external customers. Strong skills in project management, able to solve problems, analyze systems and data, and proactively suggest appropriate solutions. Well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
