    The ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST is responsible for production of administrative and clinical materials and correspondence, coordinating day-to-day activities and other duties and projects as assigned.  Performs high-level secretarial duties in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with departmental objectives, assuring optimal secretarial services are provided to the highest level of productivity.  Activities contribute significantly to the smooth running of the overall department

    • Computer skills with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong verbal and written communication
    • Professional writing skills
    • Telephone etiquette
    • Medical terminology preferred

    • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong prioritization skills, adaptable and flexible.

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED:

    • High school graduate or G.E.D.
    • Computer experience essential

     

    PREFERRED:

    • College degree preferred
    • Experience supporting senior level management preferred
