Carrier Transicold is currently seeking an intern for the summer of 2022 to assist in building the future of the connected cold chain. We are seeking a self-starter, that wants to gain experience in identifying business opportunities against our goals and converting those opportunities into implementation strategies. This experience in the industrial / transportation industry is designed to provide a unique and valuable experience on projects focused on electrification and similar highly visible and transferable growth levers. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop market development strategies for current and future cold chain technologies such as electrification and driverless trucks.
• Use data to identify how to best serve our dealers and end-users
• Identifying incites from data leveraging advanced analytics problem-solving tools such as, but not limited to, data mining, ML, OLS regression
• Clearly communicate with the team on results and findings, leverage scientific method in approach.
• Build interactive reports leveraging Power BI

REQUIREMENTS

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-driven and proactive
• Knowledge and experience in Power BI
• Knowledge and experience in Python preferred
• Good humility and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys identifying and solving complex problems
• Willingness to try solving singular problems from multiple angles and compare

EDUCATION

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Economics, Business, or related field of study
• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
• Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
