    We are looking for Sophomore or Junior college students to join GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). The GE Appliances Buying Groups & RTO intern position will assist in managing day to day order placement, post sales responsibilities and general account maintenance for the Rent to Own channel and the Buying Groups team.

    HOW YOU'LL CREATE POSSIBILITIES

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage day to day orders from our Rent to Own dealers, including order placement, product returns and tracking.

    • Assist with the development and execution of promotions and programs for our RTO and retail dealers to drive incremental business for GEA.

    • Assist with running reports and gathering sell-to information to assist the national account managers and finance with developing estimates for performance.

    • Manage multiple priorities, drive timely issue resolution and process improvement while supporting and assisting multiple members of the Buying Groups Team.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Pursuing a bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing, Operations.

    • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university in a full-time undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

    • Ability to work flexible hours ranging from 20 -25 hours during school year and 40 hours during summer break; school schedule dependent.

    • Must have at least 12 months of education remaining before graduation

    • Position located in Louisville, KY or remote within two hours. Housing & Relocation benefits not provided

    • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop

    • Self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple/diverse tasks.
