    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Sales Representative within the Automotive Aftermarket Sales Channel will demonstrate our superiority in products through hands-on demonstrations at body shops, automotive jobbers, and warehouse distribution. This position is a key growth position, and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the business.

    The overall goal of this position is to travel a large geography in the assigned territory in support of our selling efforts. Time will be spent growing and demonstrating our RSG product line.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Developing & maintaining key-account relationships
    • Foster close customer relationships for SGA share gain
    • Extensive documentation & reporting (Salesforce), critical path development, and strategic planning
    • Communications, coordination, with Sales Manager and Rep Agents
    • External communications involving growth plans with key distribution to gain share in the respective territory
    • Able to perform demonstrations at the Body Shop level with our RSG product line

    Required Qualifications

    COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

    Interested candidates should have proven sales record managing medium and large accounts with a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and interest in Automotive Refinishing.

    The position requires:

    • BS/BA degree or 2-3 years of progressive technical sales experience in automotive refinishing applications
    • Candidates must have an interest in fieldwork and hands on demonstration and promotion of an automotive aftermarket product line.
    • Self-starting, highly motivated, individual who works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web applications, contact management and other forms of data analysis is necessary.
    • The successful candidate will be required to attend a mandatory 4 to 6 week training program virtually and hands-on in the field with an AAT from Saint-Gobain.
