The Sales Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to work with experienced and inspiring leaders in challenging projects across GE Appliances’ Marketing & Sales organizations.

Interns have significant exposure opportunities to key Sales and Marketing leaders at GE Appliances, as well as recent graduates currently employed in the Commercial Development Program.

Essential Responsibilities Sales intern assignments vary widely in terms of the types of work required. Possible assignments may include:

• Assisting in the development of email marketing communication plans
• Testing new tools to support product launches
• Creating documentation and training material
• Performing user-acceptance testing
• Product training
• Developing marketing content and materials
• Brand development projects
• Video and photo editing
• Market research and trend analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

• Full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program pursuing a marketing, sales, business, or another business-related degree
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 required
• Excellent computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task
• Must be willing to work up to 40 hrs/week during the internship
• Must be willing and able to work 10-12 consecutive weeks during the summer, with a start date of May 11, 2020
• Must be willing to relocate to Louisville, KY with a stipend provided

Most positions are located in Louisville, KY (our Corporate HQ). Assignments are also available in Camden, SC; Decatur, AL; LaFayette, GA; Selmer, TN. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.
