SCOPE Performs analytical test procedures on raw materials, plant samples and final products. Communicates test results to operations personnel in a timely manner for plant quality control and determination of in-spec material. Performs test results on environmental samples (waste streams). Position Responsibilities: -Performs diverse chemical and/or physical test procedures on products, specialty products and intermediate solids and solutions associated with the Tucson manufacturing process -Determines the chemical purity and/or content of intermediate and final alumina products, alumina-based specialty products, and plant-related solutions, including waste streams, using state-of-the-art instrumentation -Collects, organizes and documents data and enters required data into LIMS in the performance of all laboratory tests. Maintains accurate records of all laboratory tests.
