    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cleveland, OH. This full-time role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting and analysis.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    Assist the CFO with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

    Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual variance reports and support overall financial performance tracking.

    General Accounting & Reconciliations:

    Record monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, amortizations, and depreciation entries.

    Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and maintain fixed asset and benefit cost schedules.

    Accounts Payable & Receivable Support:

    Assist with processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

    Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable aging and support collection efforts.

    Audit Support & Compliance:

    Gather and maintain documentation to support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.

    Research and interpret accounting data to respond to inquiries and ensure compliance.

    General Support:

    Uphold and model the company’s Core Values in all work and interactions.

    Perform additional duties as required.

    Location and Work Environment:

    Onsite in Cleveland, OH.

    Occasional travel between company locations may be required.

    Primarily office-based with some exposure to warehouse environments (some areas may lack heating or air conditioning).

    Schedule, Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:

    Standard schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

    Occasional overtime may be required during month-end or audit periods.

    Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

    5+ years of proven accounting experience.

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word.

    Experience with Sage 100 (or similar ERP software) preferred.

    Strong math skills, including percentages, ratios, and fractions.

    Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.

    Completion of a Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index required.

    Successful completion of a company background check and drug screening required.
