  • Responsibilities

    WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

    Performs a variety of administrative functions in support of the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and plant staff and to coordinate various financial, inventory management, and administrative functions with Payroll/HR, Financial Shared Services, and Gypsum Corporate Office

    • Provides administrative support to the plant resources, including 3 rd party vendors, through assigned duties, backup functions, meetings, presentations, audit compliance, and a variety of complex and confidential weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for departments and corporate resources as requested

    • Process daily in-system receipt for all direct and indirect materials in accordance with corporate policy and support inventory discrepancy investigations for root cause

    • Manage daily review of invoices in Medius (Invoicing System) for PO & non-PO invoices:

    • Follow-up and expedite required resolution with vendors, plant personnel, and Accounts Payable

      • Route invoices to other approvers as required.
      • Invoice reconciliation and GL coding of non-PO invoices
      • Identify and systematically resolve root causes of invoice inconsistencies
    • Handles SAP transactions related to the reconciliation of vendor returns, and receipt corrections

    • Process any general site purchases in Agora (office supplies, generic consumables) and submit the associated expense reports

    • Performs Payroll Administrator backup duties including organizing relevant payroll/HR documents

    • Conduct receptionist functions including greeting visitors and maintaining the general office area to high visual standards, including couriers, vendor visits, site logs, safety supplies, plant beverage supplies, office inventory/storeroom, and distribution of daily mail

    • Inventory Control Champion for receiving, uniforms, radios, janitorial services and other general functions

    IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

    • HS Diploma or equivalent, required
    • AA or some College Business Courses, preferred
    • T wo (2) to four (4) years’ general office environment in a manufacturing facility
    • Accounts payable experience

    Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $52,000-$80,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

    In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $55,640-$85,600 .
