    Job Description

    Your duties in this position will include providing training on sensor insertion and removal procedures to qualified healthcare professionals. You will work collaboratively with the sales team to support sensor insertion/removal, patient technical and clinical education and follow-up, and other duties as determined by your supervisor.

    ·       Provide training on sensor insertion and removal procedures to qualified medical professionals following the most current protocols and guidelines

    ·       Ensure clinicians have completed full certification requirements before proceeding independently with patient insertions and removals

    ·       Document the training performance for all instruction provided to HCP customers and identify areas for follow-up to ensure best-in-class adoption and implementation of the insertion/removal procedures

    ·       Work collaboratively with the sales team to support sensor insertion/removal within your assigned geographical area and provide expert guidance on strategies to optimize therapy with Eversense products

    ·       Within each practice, identify and train clinic staff to perform the Eversense duties required by a) the procedure assistant, b) the patient technical trainer and c) product ordering and scheduling

    ·       Gather and synthesize clinical insights from the real-world application of Eversense therapy for use by the training department to develop clinical content materials

    ·       Serve as an expert resource to support prescriber requests for clinical and scientific information related to Senseonics products and glucose monitoring

    ·       Own the process of ensuring all sensors shipped out for patients within your geographical area, are inserted and initiated (or maintained) on therapy in a timely manner

    ·       Stay current on the latest product and clinical data relating to all Senseonics products

    ·       Educate the sales team on newly released clinical data and new developments regarding Senseonics products, including how these developments can provide clinical benefits and patient safety

    ·       Collaborate with Customer Service in determining best methods and needs for dealing with customer complaints, troubleshooting issues, and coordinate and liaison with other departments as necessary

    ·       Attend internal/external education meetings and stay abreast of appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency in diabetes management

    Engage in basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned geography

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·       A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with professional licensure and credentials required (RN or RD).

    ·       A minimum of 3 years post-professional degree practice or relevant transferable experience (clinical practice, clinical or scientific training, academic research and regulatory/scientific) is required.

    A minimum of 2 years industry experience within the medical device or pharma space.
