Marketing Communications Specialist, Cosmetics New United States, New Jersey, South Plainfield Marketing Oct 09, 2018 Post Date 003846 Requisition # Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job Alerts Job Summary Sensient Cosmetic Technologies is looking for a talented and creative Marketing Specialist committed to supporting Sensients tradition of developing, producing and marketing high-quality ingredients and colorants to the cosmetics industry. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, writing, executing and managing a digital and print channel brand strategy designed to increase customer awareness and demand for Sensient Cosmetic Technologies products and services around the globe. In addition, the successful candidate will support the Product Manager by collecting and analyzing business and intelligence data. Responsibilities Gather technical information through research and subject matter expert interviews to develop messaging and positioning of the company's products and services. Assist with in-house graphic design and function as a liaison with outsourced suppliers to produce product portfolios including print and digital marketing communications, collateral material, customer presentations, and other content as needed. Ensures brand consistency across content portfolio Work with Product Manager to identify the most appropriate methods and mediums for distributing digital and print media content. Manage Sensient Cosmetic Technologies social media presence and activity in collaboration with other regions. Manage and lead media and North America trade shows by working with external suppliers and ensure that all marketing collateral is in place. Monitor spend versus budget for advertising and trade shows. Work in collaboration with the Application team to develop and publish formulary sheets. Use internal (Salesforce and website) and external (UL Prospector) analytics to monitor market activity and provide summary analysis to the Product Manager. Maintenance of UL Prospector Product Data and content. Develop relationships with key influencers and Public Relations personnel within the Cosmetic industry. Qualifications Demonstrated excellence in copywriting/content marketing Extensive knowledge of digital communications channels Experience managing outside advertising or digital agencies Must demonstrate high levels of creativity, flexibility, and problem solving Strong Microsoft office skills, especially with PowerPoint; Photoshop, InDesign Illustrator experience a plus. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications, Graphic Design, or equivalent. At least two years of experience. Cosmetic and/or Personal Care Industry experience a plus.
