Timing Systems: Join an elite group of system engineers to design solutions for highly demanding clocking and synchronization applications. We transform the timing landscape for 5G wireless infrastructure, data centers, broadcast and many more industrial solutions by defining next generation Silicon Labs Timing ICs. MCU Systems: Think beyond the IC and tackle real-world, system-level problems in areas ranging from cryptography and security to micro-power management, then work closely with IC architects to drive system-level requirements back into Silicon Labs IC products. RF Systems: Get your hands on real hardware and take a deep dive into antennas, RF circuits, and wireless protocols ranging from proprietary subG to 5GHz Wi-Fi, all while helping to define the next generation of Silicon Labs radios. Here are just a few of the challenges you might get to tackle: Research, analyze, specify, and develop product and application solutions (HW, SW) in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams (eg. IC Design, SW, Marketing) for high-performance clocking OR IoT applications. Design solutions and verify using lab setup and /or behavioral level simulation tools Develop PCBs Create algorithms and collaborate with FW team to integrate them. You are looking for an opportunity to show-off your breadth of skills from several disciplines. You want to work with a global team of technology enthusiasts and design pioneers. Heres what you need: Completion of 2+ years of study Enrollment in BS/MS/PhD Electrical or Computer Engineering degree plan You have some combination of the following skills: You are interested in PCB design, Phase Locked Loops, RF Signals, analog circuits. Coursework in embedded programming, scripting, debug, and laboratory measurement. Knowledge of System design concepts, implementation, simulation, and productization.
